Getting married in France?
Let me tell your story.
A wedding photographer based in the north of France, welcoming international couples with warmth, discretion and a documentary eye. I understand English and use live translation when needed, so communicating about your day stays easy.
Planning a wedding in a country that isn't your own is a beautiful, slightly daunting thing. You picture a château in the Loire, a sun-drenched terrace in Provence, an intimate ceremony somewhere in the countryside, and you want a photographer who understands both the French setting and you. That is exactly where I come in. With more than fifteen years behind the camera and over three hundred weddings, I bring local knowledge, genuine calm and pictures that feel like the day actually felt.
Full Wedding Coverage
From the morning preparations to the dancefloor. A relaxed, unobtrusive presence and a complete, honest story of your day, delivered as 600 to 800 retouched photographs.
Engagement & Pre-Wedding
A session before the big day to get comfortable in front of the lens and to capture the two of you against a French backdrop you'll love coming back to.
After-Day Session
A second, calmer shoot in your wedding attire, the day after or later in your trip, for unhurried portraits in a setting chosen just for the images.
My approach
I photograph weddings the way they deserve to be remembered: as they happened. No stiff posing, no endless group shots eating into your celebration. I stay quietly in the background, I follow the emotion, and I step in gently only when a portrait calls for it.
The result is a collection of images that feel alive. The look your father gives you, the laughter during the speeches, the light at golden hour on a French stone wall. The heart before the lens.
Why couples from abroad choose to work with me
Local knowledge
I know how French venues, light and timelines work, and I can suggest the right moments and spots so nothing photogenic gets missed.
A calm presence
Travelling for your wedding is enough to organise. On the day, I'm the relaxed, reassuring person who already knows the plan.
Remote planning made simple
We prepare everything by email and video call across time zones, so that by the time you land, we already know each other.
About the language
Let me be honest with you, because I'd rather you hear it from me. I have a good understanding of English and I'm learning to speak it better every day. My spoken English is still a work in progress, so to make sure nothing is ever lost between us I use Ray-Ban Meta glasses with real-time translation. During the wedding, whenever a moment needs precise words, we communicate smoothly.
In practice, photography is a visual language. After 300 weddings I read a room, anticipate the emotion and the light, and stay one step ahead, regardless of the words. You will never feel unheard, and you will never have to repeat yourself twice.
Where I photograph in France
Based in the north of France, near Lille and the Opal Coast, I travel across the country and beyond for the right celebration.
Northern France & Paris region
My home territory: the Lille area, the Opal Coast, and easy reach to Paris and its châteaux for an elegant, classic French wedding.
Loire Valley & châteaux
The postcard image of a French wedding: historic castles, formal gardens and timeless stone, ideal for couples dreaming of grandeur.
Provence & the South
Lavender light, vineyards and warm terracotta evenings. A favourite for relaxed, sun-filled destination weddings.
Anywhere your story leads
From a Normandy clifftop to the French Riviera or across the border into Belgium and Italy, travel is part of what I do. Just tell me where.
Frequently asked questions
Do you speak English well enough to photograph our wedding?
Honestly: I understand English well and I'm learning to speak it better all the time, though I'm not fully fluent yet. To make sure nothing is ever lost, I use Ray-Ban Meta glasses with live translation for any moment that needs precise words. And with 300+ weddings behind me, I anticipate the day visually, so communication is never a barrier to great photographs.
We live abroad. How do we plan everything from a distance?
Entirely by email and video call, at times that suit your time zone. We discuss your venue, your timeline and the images that matter to you well before the day. By the time you arrive in France, we already know each other and the plan is set.
Where in France do you travel?
I'm based in the north of France, near Lille, and I travel throughout the country: Paris and its châteaux, the Loire Valley, Provence, the French Riviera, Normandy and the Opal Coast, as well as Belgium and Italy. Travel within 150 km of my base is included; beyond that, travel and accommodation are added to your quote.
How many photos do we receive, and when?
You receive between 600 and 800 fully retouched photographs from a full wedding, delivered on average within four weeks in a private online gallery you can download and share with family worldwide.
How far in advance should we book?
For destination weddings I recommend reaching out 12 to 18 months ahead, especially for peak season dates. That said, never hesitate to ask about a closer date, sometimes the timing aligns.
Can you recommend venues or other suppliers?
Gladly. After many weddings across France I can point you toward beautiful venues and trusted partners, including a videographer I regularly work alongside, so your day is covered seamlessly.
How do we receive your prices?
Tell me your date, your region and a little about your plans, and I'll send a detailed brochure with my collections. Every destination wedding is a little different, so I prefer to give you accurate, personalised information rather than a one-size-fits-all figure.
"We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful photos and for being there on our wedding day. We loved your discreet, easy-going presence, which made the whole atmosphere even calmer. The photos are simply brilliant. It's incredible how you captured the moments and the emotions, and we were so touched that you took beautiful shots of every single one of our guests. Thank you, with all our warm wishes from Lausanne."
Laura & Jannik · Switzerland"You captured everything and gave it all back to us. You had eyes everywhere, on the lookout for every burst of laughter, every embrace, and it makes your photos so alive and natural. The weather wasn't great that day, yet our photos sparkle with joy and love. So happy we had you travel 800 km to immortalise this. Thank you for everything."
